Float coats have big reflective striping, a strobe, and a whistle. (also included some dye if I remember correctly)

Just remember not to inflate it until AFTER you hit the water.......

If you accidentally fall out of a submarine while it's underway, you deserve not to be found. I think guys on surface ships have those little strobes or something.

Congrats man. Stay employed. The civilian life sucks after being regimented for so long. It took me years to adapt after getting out the Marines. I think that is why I have such a hard time shaking this contractor thing. It is the medium between shitty pay and the military and awesome pay and the military. lol

I'm going to the Newport News SSN-750. I don't want to get spoiled man. Or move to GA. I wouldn't mind, I just don't want to move.

I was part of the Small boat handling party on my last boat and we did some pretty sketchy stuff getting guys onto the boat. But if we ever had to do any of that, we had to be in harnesses and strapped in. We didn't have a 20 ft wide FLAT section to walk around on topside like you guys.
