as a rental while I was on a detachment to Sicily. Holy hell what a fun little car. Not a wagon specifically. More of a hatch back but it handled like it was on rails going up and coming down from Mt. Etna and on their Autostrada (interstate like roads) you could just keep your foot on the floor and it just went. Very fast car for a diesel powered one. It topped out at around 130 I think on the Autostrada.

The one we had was the 6 speed automatic with diesel engine options. While I would have preferred a manual the Automatic in it worked VERY WELL.
