they do not meet the US crash standards from what I have been told. I've seen the way the cars CRUSH at low speed crashes of like 20-30 mph.. they are like tin cans. I remember seeing windows break, and it's nothing like the windows on our cars.
forgive my ignorance, but why cant you get one of these to be legal on the streets, yet kit cars can be? are kit cars tested by the EPA and DOT for emissions and safety?
hands down the c6 interior is better than the 03/04 cobra, but I think the new 5liter interior, specifically the GT500's blows the C6 and Z06 out of the water.
The price difference brand new for each, it's always laughable to compare the two against each other though.
not looking for crazy numbers.. still stock motor.. stock fuel. baby blower i cant compete with the ballers running around here with 1300 rwhp TT vettes and 1000+ rwhp blown ones ..
i got a couple of 1000's saved up, im gonna go with a 408 stroker and a big cam, along with other bolt on's , looking to get about 500rwhp out of it

alright, so i have owned a old school z06 for the last 2 years and half, never had any kind of problems with it, i race it and enjoy it as much as i can, i have beaten quite a few cobras, vipers, stangs, camaros , etc. it's not the fastest but i like it the way it is. tires are expensive, as well as oil changes .
my rears are onlye $340 a piece.. IMO thats cheap for a 345x19
