I got some clear on this thing today and couldn't resist taking a few pics. This color REALLY pops. There is some trash in the clear, so I will let it cure a few days, wet sand it, and then re-clear.

Thanks! I was a little concerned the paint I picked up for the underside was going to be too metallic, but it turned out pretty spot on!Originally posted by Shaggin Wagon View PostDude.....that underside of the car is amazing!

Thank you!Originally posted by shumpertdavid View PostAmazing work as usual sir.
I'm not 100% happy with it. Though, once it is assembled, the issues won't really show.Originally posted by 4bangen View PostLoving the carpet.
I got quite a bit done the last few days. Motor is in, interior tub is mated to the chassis, rear end and suspension is in as well. Now, I just have to hope that it doesn't look like a 4x4 once assembled! I am terrible about pre-checking ride height.

Lol. I need to tone down the shine on the exhaust. I used some Tamiya smoke to darken the front section and it caused it to shine :/Originally posted by line-em-up View PostLooks incredible. It also makes you hands look YUGE.

A little more work done on the GT500. Engine is in. It needs some touch ups and decals applied. Interior is painted and in the same state, needs a few touch ups and the decals applied. Interior was painyed with Tamiya TS-82 rubber black. Dash accents are model master stainless steel metalizer. I'm hoping to have this thing complete minus the body by the time I go back to work on the second. All I will need then is some good weather to clear it!
My only road block right now is temperature. I need to fire up the airbrush to spray some parts amd clear the body. I will assemble as much as possible and then wait for a day warm enough to shoot clear.

I know stripe delete was an option, but not sure if any came out as SMG with no stripes... I'd have to think there were some though.
