I think we have a few competitive cyclists here on the board. I just heard that Dallas Racing got funds for a sanctioned event in Downtown Greenville in mid August. From the newspaper article, it sounds like it is going to be a Crit held in the downtown area. I will update when I get more details.
I wish I had been more diligent in my training so that I could participate. I just haven't had any time this year to dedicate to it due to work and buying and remodeling a house.
