iPhone 5 (any predictions)

Expected response. That's most everyone's response and very few of them have much relevant experience with one. I love the clean, quick and simple concept; it's just a goddamned phone, I don't want to spend anymore time fucking around with it than I have to. If I want to geek out about rooting and spending hours fiddling with a phone, I've got my girlfriend's android to fuck around with.

If you want a phone to only call/text/web browse, then yess, that phone will work fine for you.

I'd suggest waiting until the spring, if you can, for WP8. It looks pretty damn good.

Everything I've heard says later in 2012 and this damned go phone is driving me up a wall after just a month. I'm holding out for the Samsung Focus S and then I'll probably pull the trigger, so long as I can upgrade to 8 when it comes out.

And $200 is a hell of a deal for a 1080p video recorder and pretty good 1.1 second-to-first-shot camera. Oh and it does other stuff too.

I'm getting one. But then I've got an old ass iPhone 3g. Siri has me curious. I think people are under estimating its impact in iOS5. However I think that impact will be more felt on the iPad.

A slightly better camera and a dual core processor are not enough to make me buy the new one. Next year, IF their new offering is 4G LTE, I will buy. Until then, my iPhone 4 will suffice.
