I use a 23" Dell with the Xbox and Turtle Beaches. Looks good and sounds good.

Another question is, are you wanting to use internal speakers or how will you handle sound?
That seems to have really good reviews. I'll be using my turtle beaches. I trust your advice/opinion, you know more about computer hardware than I do and I know you're a computer gamer, so I value that.

I never noticed any ghosting with playing on my 3008, but it is @ 8ms. But I cannot stand TN/PVA monitors for anything so take my suggestions with a grain of salt I guess.

I play my xbox on a 24 inch 1080p lcd while sitting at my desk. It is way better then playing on a big tv from the couch

actually; in hindsight, see if you can find a HP ZR22w for cheap.

I'd still buy an IPS panel over TN/PVA

Honestly here is my take on tv vs. monitor. I have a 122" projection setup that I watch tv and console game on. I wouldnt trade that for the world but now am going to try out 3 24" monitors in eyefinity to see how I like it. I initially thought about maybe running the PC on my projector and still might to see how it works out but I doubt you will see much if any difference on console gaming. Once you get into PC then its a whole different animal I hear though.

I just ordered 3 Asus 24" monitors this morning. I had 3 of the 25" monitors you posted but changed them to the 24" because newegg is having a special. Here is the info I posted in my thread this morning....

Mine plays fine, I just wondered if the picture would look better on a computer monitor.

Any of you guys have input on the ASUS monitors, something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236123 ? I've been looking at those and LG.

I know it's not 100,000:1, I'll double check when I get home but I'm 99% positive it is, at least I'm sure that's what it says on the box.

If I pick up a monitor then probally 3-4 feet away, just like you would with a computer. The lower the ms response time, the better, correct?

I can tell you it would probably look amazing compared to the TV.
