I just bit the bullet and pre-ordered a Atrix. Should have it march 6th or sooner. Didnt get any docks yets, Im going to let my wife use her discount to get me at least the desktop dock for up here at work. Im hoping a 3rd party makes a laptop dock for a reasonable amount though.

What's bad is there are some schmoes that'll pay for it. I give the aftermarket six wks and there'll be a lap-dock for a buck fiddy.

Yep I thought the same thing, the "laptop" is just a shell so it should be easy to make. Maybe someone can make one that doesnt leave your phone hanging off the back like this one also. I can see something breaking as it is.

and leave it to ATT to drop the ball on the Atrix, $199 for the phone is ok deal but $499 for the laptop dock?? Its a empty laptop with now mobo, processor, gpu, etc!! Oh but they are offering a hell of a deal at $500 for the combo as long as you upgrade to a tethering plan. Its not tethering, its just an extension of the phone.

Yeah I noticed that too. That's my only gripe though. They should be on 2.3 at the very least. Honeycomb prefferbly though.

Just found out (Im sure Im late as usual) about the 4G android phones for ATT. The Atrix 4G impresses me the most, dual core processor and 1gig of ram! $199 for the phone and should be out at the end of Feb. The other two phones have bigger screens but not as much power. I think the infuse is bigger than the Evo which is already pretty good size to begin with.

The coolest part IMO is the laptop dock for the Atrix, basically a laptop with no processor, it uses the phone as the CPU and only houses the screen, keyboard, speakers and battery. Comes with a full current version of firefox installed too.
