I've been waiting for this game since the idea for it was first conceived. I've stopped holding out hope that it will ever be released. I've also stopped holding out hope that if it is ever released, it will be any good. Ubisoft will fuck it up...just like they fuck everything else up

Well, news just broke it's now a shooter, and not an RPG.

Kind of seems like a big ass leap to make this far into development.

I'm not sure I believe this news 100% because the only reports related to this news that I can find through Google are on Christian based websites, which makes no sense. This article says that Gamespot talked with a developer about the game going to a FPS game but I can't find anything on the Gamespot website about any such interview.

I've been keeping up with this game since the first idea as they Tom Clancy games tend to be very well done. From it's inception, developers wanted a Battlefield like team play aspect with a GTA endless gameplay feel. Other updates out on the web leads me to believe they're still on track to keep this a team based, 3rd person, sandbox mmo.

I think its a 3rd person shooter with first person aim down, with coop, in a semi open world (unlocked regions) with RPG and MMO lite features (quests and persitant player levels/skill tree)

Hopefully the PC version wont be the same as the watered down console version
