It was probably just some sort of a saline solution. He didn't want the tranqulizer to be used on him again like it was when he got thrown out into the "lake of fire." However, he wanted to be able to show that he had a "needle" because Travis knew he would have had one.

Just watched the last episode, I've been a bit out of the loop.. am I correct in remembering that next season is supposed to be the last? The whole Deb / Dexter love thing is fucking stupid in my opinion as I don't really see how it contributes to the show in any way. As far as the final scene, holy shit how is next season going to start and on another note they didn't expand on Louis' and what role he is going to play.

So the worst season of Dexter ends with the best ending of the series!!!

I can't wait to see how he gets out of this....or maybe he doesn't.

I am thinking its almost obvious now. I would not be surprised to find out that he knew about Dexter being a killer all the time. That is why he is so obsessed with him and why he wanted to show Dex the game and also why he wanted to go work there after being a wealthy game designer.

Probably because at the time he trusted Travis.

I'm still hung up on Geller being seen at the college. When Travis said, "There he is..." and Dexter didn't flinch and acted as if he'd seen him as well. Don't understand that at all.

Show was only 3 minutes shorter than usual. I like Travis more without Gellar. I wonder what the nerd is gonna do now that Dexter doesn't "approve" of him as much as everybody else?
