Kimber Custom Classic II (full size) .45 ACP, Kimber Ultra Carry II (sub compact) .45 ACP, and a Springfield XD 4.5" .45 ACP. Surprised I don't see more people carrying a .45's here.

The P32 is the smallest handgun I could find that had a comfortable feel to it. I put a Hogue grip on it and have both factory and extended mags. They both feel good. I even qualified on my CHL with it. Never shot outside of the 8 ring. I even got one for the wife. She hates guns, but can live with that one.Originally posted by Tannerm View PostGood call Denny... All I ever carry is my Glock 23 gen 3... It gets a annoying when im always adjusting my shirt. P32 any good? Feel like its worth the dough?

I love Sig AR's and 1911's. Both pricey, but good weaps imo. Wouldnt mind having a 220 tho...

OK, I can give you a little insight on both. CZ are excellent weapons. They have a good heavy frame with a lightweight 9mm round. They feel awesome in the hand and shoot great. They also have a polymer framed CZ called the 75 SP01. Lastly, they have a compact "duty" carry CZ called the P07. Not keen on the looks. Personally, the 75's are the greatest looking pistols outside of the Browning and 1911.Originally posted by 2cammer97 View PostI plan to test a variety of guns just like I did when I purchased my Beretta 92A1. For now, i'm just internet researching. I'm reading good things about the CZ's and was impressed with the full size CZ 75 I shot previously. I've also been impressed shooting my wife's bro-in-law's Sig P226 stainless in .40, which is why i'm interested in the Sig 229 and 239 even though Sig's cost more. The only thing I don't like on the Springfield's is the grip safety. The grip safety feels odd in my palm when firing but maybe you get use to it over time.

As far as the Sig 226; I'm not a big of them period... They are bigger then I expected and are very right hand dominate. I had to carry this for 3 years and hated every day of it. LONG first trigger pull (not allowed to carry them cocked and locked...) These are VERY popular especially in LE. I am one of few. Once I made SWAT, I was allowed to carry a Glock. It was a big weight off my shoulders to carry a weapon I am both physically and mentally able to feel good shooting. I shot 96-100% with both pistols, but never liked the Sig's mechanics and ergo's.

 Thats my .02's
