Private GTG Shooting Event

Was a great time. I have to agree on the comments above and thank Alex, Keith, Richard, others for letting me shoot the toys. I must admit being nervous about the meet and being unfamiliar about the range, not knowing any members well, and bringing a pile of guns/ammo for this situation. Everyone I met was great as were the range guys.

Kudos, and we must do again.

For Yale and others, the only surprises were the requirements for slug 12 ga and non steel core. I think some of my ammo for the MAK 90 was steel, which is why it stayed in the case.

I've got a video or two I need to transfer. People shooting the SW 500 hand cannon were great.

+1 on the having a blast. This was lots of fun. And i'm bad with names as well but thanks to everybody that i can't remember, especially Keith and Matt, and definitely Alex for allowing me to fulfill my HK fetish.

Can't wait for the next one....as i have 250 rounds of shells i couldn't use.

I had a blast too and it was nice finally meeting you guys...although I have a terrible memory for names too. Alex thanks for letting me shoot the Mac...last time I fired a full auto was boot camp. Matt...that .38 surprised me with the recoil but was nice. The blast coming from that .454 felt like an artillery cannon....and might have caused an earthquake somewhere...HOLY SHIT!!! Finally fired some rounds thru that nasty old Taurus .38 my dad gave me...I don't think I could hit a barn door with it with the sights being as far off as they are...but mechanically it worked fine. I loved that auto 12 guage. I'll try to get a pic up of Matt and the foot tall ice cream cone soon. Count me in for next time as well.
