Primary Arms has the CMMG kit for $120-130 tomorrow only. Not a bad deal

Because your 8 year old son wants to shoot a rifle just like dad's AR. He's got a 10/22 he likes to shoot when he's trying to shoot something small like turtle noggins, but to just blast cans and veggies with he picks the CMMG every time. And when he starts shooting a .556 AR he will already be familiar with the controls.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View Post... for me personally I really would like to have an AR but I am not person that is going to do much hunting with it so for plinking and general shooting about 2x a week this is a great way to kill two birds with 1 stone for me. I would never actually need a .223 round AROriginally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostTempting... that is so much fun for so little money... SO what do you guys think build a 9mm gun or buy a complete colt le 6450 9mm new?

From what I've seen when using a complete upper they're very reliable, I like the ability to shoot tons of different ammo with the same gun more the less. I'm seeing complete uppers used for 200 bucks.Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostTempting... that is so much fun for so little money... My M&P 1522 was quite a bit lighter then my 10/22Originally posted by 5.0_CJ View PostTempting... that is so much fun for so little money... I don't know why anyone would want a giant heavy bulky AR-15 in .22 when you can get a light, small, and more reliable 10/22 for 1/3rd the price.
Now my Colt 22 is pretty stout, but I dont think it is too much heavier then my 10/22.

I would not hesitate to use a plum crazy lower based off the few people I know who have one. At least from a functionality/how it looks to be made/how sturdy it felt point of view.Originally posted by onemeangixxer7502 View PostIve read plum crazy has a decent warranty but read mixed reviews. I dont know how i feel about a plastic lower. I'm picking up another complete RIFLE, colt 6450 le.
Looking at one in person a few weeks ago, it seemed absolutely fine to me.
My problem comes into play, with just -liking- the metal lowers. I can't help it and am not very open minded.
However, for an extremely light weight build, I think it would be nice to use there.
