Aren't those GSGs in the M&P range and not the 100-300 range?

My exact response when I saw the pic. My Nylon 66 is a nonstop running machine. I have put thousands upon thousands of rounds without a single issue.

I got the M&P 15-22 and love it. I've shot the 10/22 as well. IMHO, you're not going to go wrong with the 10/22 and it's a ton cheaper. I'll probably buy 2 for my kids eventually. If you want a solid 22 that you can tweak into what you want, do the 10/22. If you want something to emulate an AR and/or test cheap accessories on, M&P.

Those are the only two I really know worth a shit. You can pick up used 10/22s, or buy them new for around 160-180.

    Just do 10/22.

When it comes to 22's I want a gun that works, and is cheap to modify. A 10/22 is the best gun without a doubt. I own 4 .22 rifles. 10/22, Marlin Model 60, Remington 552, Remington 597. All are good in their own rights, the 10/22 is the best of them all. Whoever made that above chart was just butt hurt about 10/22 popularity, and wanted to go non-conformist on that one rifle, I get that. The Model 60 and 10/22 have the best aftermarkets. You want the GSG because it looks cool - just remember it isn't going to be as fun as a 10/22 will be. And it definitely won't be as cheap.

Theyre hit or miss. When I got mine I converted it back to GSG 5. After the lawsuit some things such as grip, safety lever and front sight had to be changed.

The other mod I did was the replacement screw set from Rrages.

I had some misdeed issues with bulk ammo, but switched to CCI mini mags and it ran a lot better. Also, I read that they like to run dirty.
