    Could also build a .22 AR.

    I bought a Marlin Model 60 years ago and other than having trouble feeding rat shot its been a near perfect gun. Its light, cheap, reliable, and accurate.

    Ruger 10/22. Get the big clips and speed loader. You'll probably need a heat shield after that. Enjoy.

    I have a Ruger 10/22 and love it. Have put many of rounds threw it, without any problems. Mine has a crappy scope on it also but I can hit what I put the crosshairs on. Some time in the future I will get around to putting a better scope on it. Right now I am trying to get my Ar the way I want it.
