Regent R200s 1911 is what I carry, it came with all the goodies I was going to put in a RIA 1911.
Only thing I did was put finger grooves and wooden grips on it. Much more comfortable to shoot.

Still waiting on my CHL to process, but my plan is to initially carry my Glock 27.
Only mod I'm thinking about is a 4" Lone Wolf barrel and maybe switch to 357 sig.

Or maybe that's called a Glock Lolol only if they made a single Stack in a man sized caliber

That said, I used to have a full sized XD with a Canyon Creek trigger job which was awesome! About as close to a 1911 trigger as you can get in that gun. I'm sure they have a carry/tactical type trigger job they can perform for you to get you back to loving the gun.

See the correction I made to my statement, I just read what I wrote and realized it didn't come out the way I was thinking it in my head.

Well I'll give it that it does have a crisp break and reset but the pull kinda Sucks. It's about 1/2" of free play and then it hits a wall before it breaks. Almost like a 2 stage trigger

Mods to your EDC...
What's everyone's thoughts on modding their EDC weapon? Mine was my Springfield XDS but after I got it back from the trigger recall, I hate it. The trigger pull is double what it used to be and for some reason (probably because of trigger) I can't hit shit with it at the range. It used to be my favorite gun before and I was deadly accurate, just point and shoot and I wouldn't miss. PRP makes a trigger/grip safety spring kit to lighten it up some. I'm debating whether or not I should do it and if it will remain reliable and if I can trust it for my EDC. Reviews of the spring kit seem fine except for the few that are having light strikes (ftf) on the primer because of the striker spring being a little light and an issue only on reloads which I don't shoot . Or do I just get rid of the gun and buy something else. FYI trigger pull went from 4 . 5lbs pre to 8 lbs post recallTags: None
