    It's 100% true, same guy who started Bushmaster started Windham after he sold Bushmaster. There was an article in one of the gun mags a year or two ago about them.

    I agree.

    Perhaps I should have asked my question in a new thread. I was just asking, in general what everyone's thoughts were. Did not mean it to sway the OP from buying a Wyndham. If I were in the market, Wyndham would be on my list candidates...

    Aside from the warranty does it matter? As long as they are an actual AR with all the parts being interchangeable, they work, and are not overpriced, I say go for it

    So, how many AR mfgs that have popped up over the past couple years to cash in on the buying craze, will still be around 1, 2, or 5 years from now? Do you think Wyndham will be around?

    They're great guns for the money. Another upside is, their .308's are LR-308 pattern, so you can buy accessories for them without too much guess work.

    Good guns for the money. The jury is still out on their carbon stuff, but their aluminum upper/lower built rifles are good.

    I'll be the first to admit that I know jack shit about ARs.

    What are y'all's thoughts on them? Anybody have any experience with their carbon stuff?

    I may have a chance of getting one dirt cheap.
