If your pants are too tight and you don’t have 5.11 pockets you can always put everything on a lanyard IDF style.

Lately I daily a Phaeton and CLA here lately, only because they are the newest additions, and I've got my Northfork on my desk for mail call at the moment. I'll pick up an Infidel at some point, but it will be the last auto I spend money on. The assisted axis lock works just fine, and the un-assisted Northfork can be opened and closed with one hand.

#1 built for my dad by a friend of his in the 70s I believe, made from a rail car spring.
#2 little edc made by Mike Conner out of Bells, TX. Damascus and dyed axis antler (he's under MikeC on texashuntingforum.com)
#3 commissioned Mike Conner to build this to my specs using a file I had. There's a second knife made from the other half of the file as well. It was built to my buddy's specs for his birthday.
#4 Boker Auto before shots after the scale inserts fell out.
#5 commissioned a knife maker out of Purcell, OK to make green kirinite replacements inserts for the Boker. He requested to modify it and change it up so I gave him free reign and this is the end results.Attached Files

Probably best bang for buck you’ll find.. they’re ridiculously sharp and decent quality especially for under 20, sheath included too

i carry a kershaw launch 1. 100 bucks for a solid auto knife.
when it comes to daily carry pocket knives, i require auto function, american made, and a harder blade to keep a sharp edge longer.
anything else i carry will be a nice fixed blade
