I'm betting Lewisville just as its curves in between Lewisville and The Colony

I didn't see him and continue driving between 95-110mph for another mile or two and take an exit. I turn left under 121 and pull into a gas station to get gas. I start to get out of my car and the cop car screeches up behind me and yells through the microphone to get back in my car which I comply with.
He comes up after a minute and asks if there was an emergency and I say, no. He asks if I was trying to run from him and I say no. He asks if I always drive that way and I said I do probably more than I should as it's easy to drive fast on a nice road in a good sports car.
Long story, short, he was a VERY cool cop and only wrote me the ticket for 97 in a 70. He showed me video of him catching me and he was HAULING ASS. Like major ass. Think about how fast he had to go to catch me if I was averaging 100mph and passed him while he was stopped and he caught me within a mile or two. He was in a Crown Vic. I thought those things topped out at 120.
I am going to pay the ticket and not complain because I was in the wrong and was speeding, but I'm surprised a local PD can drive 120+mph weaving through traffic to make a speeding stop.

Originally posted by Kyle View Postx2. I reported an Arlington cop a couple of weeks ago for doing what must have been 80+ going up Division with no lights or sirens. He almost nailed someone going through an intersection! I couldn't get a plate or unit number, but called it in immediately. With it being 2am there couldn't have been that many officers in the immediate area.
Now I understand that he was probably reporting to a burglary or something that required no lights and sirens. That's no excuse (in my mind) since he was hauling serious ass and not yielding at intersections. No crook is worth killing someone by blowing through red lights like that!!

Speaking of which, the other day I saw one of Irving's finest sitting on a bridge at 161 and Las Colinas Blvd. He radars some dude on 161 and then proceeds to get on the access road, haul ass, weave in and out of rush hour traffic like some maniac at what must have been 80 mph, then finally catch the guy about two miles down the road. I was amazed because he had his lights on but wouldn't give anyone a chance to move, he must have cut off three or four people.
Safety first I guess. But then again if he just plowed into someone he would have said it was their fault for not yielding to him.

Al, he has to serve the people! If they get killed, they only have themselves to blame.

It was further north than Bass Pro, but I'd rather not say as I don't want to identify the PD.
I looked up the Crown Vic and the biggest stock engine was a 250hp version in 2006+ versions. Limited to 120mph in most configurations.
