Whats everyone's vacation plans this summer?

Lots of people that live on a budget and dont make much money go on vacations. Some just have to save longer. It's all about priorities.

We are fortunate. My wife is the VP of a company in San Diego so she convinced the CEO that the amount of a beachside rental in Del Mar is roughly the same as travel expenses (flight, car, hotel, per diem).

Next weekend we are renting a large log cabin In Broken Bow, OK with two other couples for 4 days
Then Sometime. Around Oct the wife and I are probably going to do a trip to Jamaica or something like that. We normally do Mexico but it sounds like that might not be the safest trip this year

Most likely not, but I'll at least stop through on my way to the boot in June.

On a more serious note, my boy is due June 20th so will be taking some time off for that. Then the rest of my summer will be spent working, going to school and trying to sleep.

Well, if he's slightly off schedule he'll be born on the summer solstice - that's always cool.
