Shitty owners=shitty dogs regardless of the breed. The only reason people hear about "packs" of pitbulls doing this shit is because the shitty owners never have just one.

Since I've worked for Oncor, I've seen a lot of dog bites. Most are flesh wounds and aren't from pits. The pit bull bites I've seen have all come with broken bones.

My dogs are family members in my home. I have three of the flea bags. One is a Sharpei/cur mix , red nosed/cur, and the other is lab/healer. I use my dogs to hunt, before ya'll get all tree hugger/PETA on me my dogs are well protected with kevlar vests to keep from getting cut by hogs. Everyone says eliminate the pit breed, but I'll tell you my PIT has saved my ass out in the woods when a boar came from behind and cut me really bad. My Pit Blondie has been the best dog I've ever had. She thinks she is human me and her drink beer and eat pork rinds LOL

I still think it's all in how they're raised. Our female would protect our kids with her life & don't blink an eye when she wants to sleep at the foot of our 3 year old's bed. Kinda by accident my family started having pit bulls as pets (even my mom who rescued one from a breeder.) My husband & I rescued one from being starved & fought many years ago & he was gentle as can be around us. Maybe they kept them secluded with no human interaction??? Anyway, I am pro-pitbull. I hate lil yappy ankle biters.

Agreed. I have a rat terrier and a pit/blue heeler mix. They are really goOd with each other and little kids too. It is how u raise them. Main thing is don't let micheal Vick dog sit for u
