THAT rocked! We had a group of about 12. I had the surf & turf (lobster tail and 8oz filet mignon) along with the house salad and creme brule. The treated us to a "Texas moonshine" which was some kind of whiskey with coconut cream. Probably the nicest I have ever been to.

The creamed corn is fantastic, outside of the steak and fish its my favorite part.

They serve their steaks on a sizzling hot plate so it continues to cook the steak as it sits there. The first couple of bites are great, then it's well done.
I like it med-rare to medium, btw...

I really like their house salad. We've been a half-dozen times over the years, and almost every time we go, old Gene Street would sit down with us and BS for a few minutes. He knows how to work a room.

Food is good. My biggest gripe with them is the hoity toity attitude, even from the servers. Personally, I'd like them more if it was more laid back.

their cream corn is good and so are their bacon wrapped scallops. I usually get the peppercorn steak and the wife gets the scallops

The southbound light at Frankford after you exit the Tollway will make you want to punch babies at 6pm.
You've been warned.
