Ahhhhh that kind of scary. Gotcha. I'll convince the 'victim' that not only did she want the guy to take control but her guilty orgasms were stronger than she knew how to handle which left her confused and seeking alternative ways to put my client on lock down.

That's good you've discussed it before-hand. Trust me, it's a tough road. Not only with grad school, but even the move out here. The wife was/is whole-heartedly on board and that's the only way it can work.Originally posted by Sean88gt View PostThe woman and I have had a lot of discussions about this very thing. I hardly ever saw my wife during grad school, and my hours are crazy out here. I've had a few 4am-midnight then back in the office at 4am the next day, days. Having to work weekends on top of that now... and trying to squeeze 300 hours of study time in for CFA Lvl 3 on top of that. It's rough... but when you know it going in and make absolutely sure that everyone's on-board, it's alright.

Not yet but we'd like to go before early to mid August, July preferably. Be cool if we could make the same time and make DFWM... newest re-balla buy a round of Balvenie.Originally posted by Strychnine View PostNice work. Do you plan to specialize?
I'm headed to Denver then FoCo later this summer. Any idea when you'll be up there?

Surviving something that traumatic proves you have a solid marriage. Good for you two.Originally posted by Sean88gt View PostThe woman and I have had a lot of discussions about this very thing. Matt, somewhat. I'm looking at several fields, primarily environmental (incorporates construction, O&G, energy, etc) and potentially international although I still have a desire to look into constitutional.Originally posted by Strychnine View PostNice work. Do you plan to specialize?

That is a good reason to try it out, not like a lot of people who think it is the path to millions (which for 99.9 its not). Its more a war of attrition than anything. You shouldnt have any problems making it through. Just be very aware that it will affect those around you much more than you would ever think.

Wait, so I don't get a G5 after my first year?! I think I've been sold a bill of bad goods.Originally posted by broke again View Postif you think you hate school now, law school will take that hate to a whole new level. I would estimate that of married students i went to school with 90% were divorced by the end of the second year. Of the people i graduated with (1991) less than 35% are in the active practice of law. It damn sure is not all it is cracked up to be...

Make sure you send your new # if it changes.

It's a tough field but worth it if you love it. Lately I've been thinking of law school also, just hate school so damn much.
