They make these awesome things, they're called airplanes. You can get on one, then drive said car back. Just make sure the car checks out before you book your flight.

I'd rather save $500 and a day driving back home. I can wait a day, a month, or a year to find the right car within a few hours of home base.

Those are all used.

Some of them are barely used, but in his price range he's looking for. Nothing wrong with letting someone else take the depreciation hit and buying barely used.

Grapevine Ford has no new 2011's on their webistes but I am seeing quite a few 2012 5.0's listed at 30,xxx with internet price listed as please call.

Edit: I realize this is not a premium with 3.73's. They have some 2012 premiums listed for 34-36k. I bet with Skip's help and a little negotiating you could get real close to what you want.

I financed under 20k though and got a decent rate.

I've seen plenty of 301 base cars for that.

He financed under $20k with fairly low interest on a 60 month note to get to that number. Guessing they were asking in the $25-26k range for the car.
