i sold my 91 with 160k on it. only major part i replaced was an alternator due to taking it in too deep of water. 4x4 with a/ts and 17-18 mpg on the highway. 4.0 i6

I beat mine to a pulp and it would keep going. Problem areas are ac, window regulators, cooling issues and speed wobble if lifted. I miss mine and would own another.

never owned one myself but from reading multiple threads about them they are usually pretty reliable but not good on gas

Mileage on a stock one will be between 12 and 15mpg.
If you got her a 2wd version then you would probably see more as it would have road tires versus all terrain along with less weight.

With 33's and 4.56 gears my mileage wasn't great, but at 180K miles the only thing I had to replace was the typical stuff (battery, plugs, wires, etc), starter, and my radiator. Aside from an upgraded alternator the engine and tranny were stock. I wouldn't suggest one if you're looking for a vehicle that gets great mileage.
