They are spoiled because they think they should have it their way. They think that what he is doing is illegal, therefore, they call the cops to have him arrested, and are whining and bitching about something that is totally legal.

I'm sure some of them are pissed because they didn't think of it first.

Technically he is the owner, he is just not the owner of record.

Possesion is 9/10ths of the law. It is now up to the bank that is the owner of record to oust him.

He basically has a bonded title to a house he found. It's up to the owner to come in and prove that they are indeed the owner and take their car back. Except in this case he has no bonding insurance.

I applaud him for what he's doing. Albeit not the most moral thing to do, but he's not hurting anyone except a faceless bank that'll recoup this loss with the next round of bail outs.

I would think the city could find the house unlivable since it has no water or electricity and forcibly evict him, which will end his squatting.

I did read about this the other day though... kind of crazy the way it works out...I don't see how its even a loop hole but if so, more power to him I guess. his neighbors are going to be the worst neighbors in the world for the next 3 years, or how even long its supposed to take.
You thought I was the OP?! ass!

Well it's definitely an obscure law but he hasn't been sitting there for 10+ years uncontested so I doubt he'll be there much longer.
