Good point. I'll call the family attorney and see what he suggests.

With the sheer level of retardation that he suffers from, I SERIOUSLY doubt he'd be wise enough to appraise or insure anything ... EVER.

All I have to do is delete this thread then it's up to him to prove where he left them. Suitcase? What suitcase?

Yeah, I see what you're saying.

If she has one lick of common sense, she'll remember that she raised us both exactly the same. My sister just chose not to give a fuck and that is no one's fault. Of course, as a mom, you tend to foster the blame for the things kids do wrong where they knew better. I'm sure she feels that somehow she coudl've changed some of this but in reality that's far from the truth. Hell my sister was gone for almost 10 years before she ever resurfaced here in Texas. A lot can change an adult person in 10 years that a parent has NO control over.

Stay away from E Bay. There would be a track of the sales. Shop around for a good deal. Take only cash (Green Train Riding Money). Or, Just keep them. The silver is going up all the time. I'd be like the other member said, "What suitcase ?"

There's no question of "if", just a question of "how to".

I'd sell that shit and then when that human cockroach comes around asking for it make sure and tell him that you gave it away. Or threw it in the trash. If he is racist make sure and mention you gave it to some mexicans. Fuck that clown.

I made one phone call to my sister after she moved out to ask about the belongings and an address to send it to. YES I OFFERED TO PAY TO SHIP IT... THEN. She told me this verbatim "I don't know how to make this any more clear... you are dead to me. If you ever try to call this number again I will change my number. If you ever try to get my address, I'll move."

After losing $1,200 paying for their storage, countless thousands of dollars on them draining me of all my funds over the span of 7 months, and getting STUCK with all that stuff I collected and people donated for them I've decided to start getting rid of it. It's OBVIOUS she doesn't want anything that was given to her daughter, her and her husband. I've donated most of the girl things since I just don't feel right selling donated items. The rest of the girl stuff will be taken to goodwill this weekend.

    My question :

I found a small suitcase that has a coin collection in it that belongs to that bitch's husband. I want to try to ebay the collection and my mom is flipping out about how it's not right for me to sell something that isn't mine blah blah blah.

I TRULY feel that if they wanted it, they A) should've taken it with or B) should've sent for it by now.

Do I have a right to sell this shit that I've been left holding?

I imagine coin shops to operate similar to pawn shops in how much they will offer for your wares. Somewhere in the vicinity of 50% of market value, if you're lucky.
