Did anyone read this part in Forrest Gump's voice?Originally posted by A+ View PostThere's this old lady who walks around my neighborhood looking for cans. Obviously she's mentally disabled so I told her to get the fuck off my lawn before I let my pitt loose.....and that's all I gotta say about that

I hear ya, Mike. Ok, you were on somebody's property, but there was no fence to keep you out. You drove slow and as soon as possible, you got out. Doesn't seem like a federal case to me. Its not like you were throwing a forty-foot rooster tail and lobbing grenades as you went. By the time the hillbilly decided to come after you, the trespass had already been terminated and whatever threat the hillbilly had to hang his hat on to give him reason to come after you was long-since passed. Am I reading it pretty close to right?
Some of the replies to this thread are so far out in left field that they don't even deserve a response. You'd really use deadly force for some guy on a motorcycle riding slowly 2 feet inside your property line? Yeah, enjoy jail and lawsuits. Y'all need a serious refresher on justified deadly force.

You're starting to sound like a paranoid schizophrenic, with PTSD tendencies.Originally posted by Forever_frost View PostHonestly? Probably not. I do meet everyone who crosses my drive gate armed as I'm permitted to do under Texas law. I trust my reflexes and training to provide me with the ability to make a split second decision in a life or death situation. If things are iffy, I speak from cover until I find out what is going on. Been shot twice, don't care to do it again.
That said, I never fire at something I'm not willing to kill, I always check my backdrop and will only open fire on something I consider a threat. I've made it 7 years without hurting anyone and I'd prefer to continue that trend. However, I will defend this farm and my family.

Forever the biggest crime you really have is criminal trespass which is a class B misdemeanor. You would go to jail for shooting someone that was fleeing your property. Now if he was charging you with the bike then you would be justified. However this was during the day and the guy was clearly trying to leave.Originally posted by Forever_frost View PostI didn't say I'm more qualified on firearms. I said Dynamite. Do try to read. Yes, I think the way I do is right, as do you. You don't want to deal with rounds directed at you? Do not enter my private property without permission or business here. Gate says it, each of the barbed wire fences say it, the front of the house says it.
And you didn't get both sides of the story either did you? Or did you go talk to the individual mentioned?
