That explains how they make so much money then. They don't seem to be spending very much on their products and then somehow turn it into something edible.
Very gross. But then again, I think most of the food we eat is like that somewhere along the line cuz business has to make money on it some way.

Don't feel bad he burst my bubble on the HEB filets a few months ago in the food forum, I've had 3 or 4 sitting in my freezer ever since. I'll "spoil" myself with meat-products about once a week and fast-food about every other week. A little never hurts.

I used to eat Arbys Beef and Cheddar about once or twice a year. It always gave me the shits and now I know why.

Most of what makes it is a meat glue, or binder if you will.
Arbys takes a gelled fat, containing the glue, meat filler, and coloring, and makes a hunk of meat that tastes heavenly when heated and sliced thinly with some horsy sauce.
Most lunch meats are done this way, as a matter of fact, most lunch meats are absolutely terrible for your health.
So are wheat products.
