IMO, it really makes more sense to be in the left lane so traffic can enter/exit in the right lane and the left lane (through) traffic is not affected by people who can not match the flow of traffic and merge correctly. I cruise the left lane since I'm always passing unless I need to pass on the right which sometimes happens. Come at me bro.

At least now you have a valid excuse with the laws and emergency vehicles on the shoulder. You have to go to the opposite lane OR slow down 20mph. Screw slowing down.

My $.02:

I am not a fan of "left lane for passing only", but am a fan of "slower traffic keep right". As mentioned, there are MANY road where the right lane is nothing but garbage, and generally speaking in terms of seeing animals running out, etc, the left lane is more safe. Forcing someone to drive in the right lane when there isn't another vehicle on the road is bullshit.

I wouldn't care who rides in the left lane as long as they yield to faster traffic, however the art of common courtesy has been replaced with dick measuring with those claiming the lane as theirs and by God none shall pass.

Pet peeve here, too! I've been blocked by morons like this doing 45mph on a 70mph highway thinking "where's the cops??!?". Even PASSED a cop on the side of the road before and the cop never would come up and pull 'em over. Too interested in speeders? What's the fine for impeding traffic/going too slow?

So f-ing annoying. Slow driver in the fast lane texting is the worst. Lady got in front of me in the fast lane the other day. I passed her and noticed she was texting got back over and let go of the gas to slow down
