The right lane of I45 heading to Houston around Corsicana is (or was) like being on a fucking gravel road, just one continuous patched pothole. No way in hell you could drive a low-riding car or sports car in the right lane without bottoming out and/or tearing shit up.

I dislike left lane campers as much as anyone, but we got pulled over on I10 at 3am on a drive to florida once. Not a single car in sight for miles and miles and it was necessary to pull us over for driving in the left lane?

I got a warning for driving in the left lane. No one else on the road 11 at night and the Trooper almost hit me because I pulled over 'too quickly.'

I can see the issue if there's others on the road, but not if you're the only one

Twice a year we make a road trip to Nashville and then from Nashville to Savannah, Ga then back here. In all those states, Texas is the worst about left lane campers. Its almost like as soon as you hit that border it starts.
