Buick Roadmaster Wagon.. Not too pretty but they thoroughly abused one on the American Top Gear and they could not kill this thing. They even filled the entire interior with water, like 20k lbs worth, and it still ran and drove during and after emptied.

It is too long to post in this thread. They have diesel 3's in Europe already. Hopefully the US will get them too.

Picture courtesy media.mazda.caOne of the constant dangers for your humble TTAC correspondent is drifting away from gimlet-eyed and ruthless objectivity towards developing a soft spot for a particular manufacturer. Lord forbid you should ever start becoming an “ advocate”.Should such tendencies emerge, one of our larger and hairier Senior Editors will show up on the front stoop bearing a large boat oar emblazoned with “Integrity” and begin beating you about t…

I needed a daily that got better gas mileage since I am no longer going back to Afghanistan but instead staying here in the dfw area to work. For what the truck would have cost me in gas, a month I can afford to pay for this car instead. I really wanted the Speed3 but my voice of reason (my wife) reminded me I have a '95 Cobra with a Dart 347, Viper 6spd, full MM suspension, 76mm turbo, coil on plug ignition, E85, etc., etc., with a convetible top and LNIB interior/exterior that I need to finish if I want to feed the urge.

This car gets stupid good gas mileage. I put 100 miles on it yesterday and plan on doing some more hwy driving today. Based on my rough calculations and the car's info center, I am getting an average of 35 hwy/city. Besides, I have already started to look at the Speed3 suspension parts and wheels online.
