True and a good point. I don't have stop losses on anything I own though. Much of it I have owned for many years and my entry price is very low compared to market today, Exxon is a great example of that. In fact, I WANT the things I own to go down in the short term because I will buy more. Don't get me wrong, it is nice to see a big account value but it sucks to sit and buy nothing for months and months at a time. I tried to buy Tesco yesterday but it didn't quite make it to my strike price. That would be my first buy of 2012.

I do buy and sell a lot of options though, tons of fun and money in that racket. Sometime in the future, when my account is huge, I am sure I will start using them to hedge my positions.

13.8x EV/Rev might be the highest I've seen! Damn

My easy to bring up chart only goes back to mid 2010 and they haven't made money in any given year since then. Although they did have at least one profitable quarter. How can you make the case that you are doing anything but gambling with your money when the shares you are buying have no value at all beyond what the next sucker will pay you?

Fact is, you might make money gambling on them but when the shit hits the fan again and it will,only a question of when, these companies die like flies in winter. They'll take every bit of money you have made in the last few years with them when they do too.

Ok they did since I bought at 13.6 look at today's close tell me who is getting paid

But really I like the book value, it's negative. I hope they paid you to take those shares. At least WPRT has a value.

Completely. We just take some backward-looking metrics like sma's and share price 2 years ago and make an investment call on it.

At $85 I wouldn't touch it, it is a rip off at that price although there are plenty of sheep who can't wait to get in the barn at that level. I have a nice stack of shares that I paid $59.20 for. I love it at that price.

I grabbed 200 shares this am. in and out in a few days
