I guess Dylan was wrong, you do need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.

It will make for some good posts between now and tomorrow while you guys get all liquored up and take out your frustrations on the keyboard.

I'm not against having LEOs scrutinized, but to have people who don't know shit about it make uneducated assumptions gets old.
I was not comparing the police profession to professional sports. I was comparing the intent, but I guess that went over your head. Next time I'll dumb it down for you.

Do you have a link pertaining to the FDLE saying all is well? All I could find was this:

Handcuffed woman is running, cops taser her (could have grabbed her easily), she falls and busts her head on the street, in front of the cruiser camera. Now she's a vegetable. Kinda like some of our peeps here.
I'm thinking he should have grabber her, especially when the policy (as related by the news just now) is that you can't taze handcuffed prisoners.
Can't find the dash cam footage.
PINELLAS PARK, Fla. -
The family of a woman who has been in a vegetative state after a state trooper stunned her with a Taser plans to sue the Florida Highway Patrol.
Surveillance video showed a Florida Highway Patrol trooper using a Taser on a 20-year-old woman who was handcuffed and running away from him in September in Pinellas Park.
The video shows the woman immediately falling to the pavement after being stunned.
The woman suffered brain damage and has been in a vegetative state ever since.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement determined the trooper's use of the Taser was justified.
The woman's family has hired an attorney and plans to sue the FHP>

And no, I don't think he should be fired after being exonerated. You just don't think someone will get brain damage from being Tased. If that was the case, it would take 2 officers to Tase someone. One to shoot the Taser, and the other to hold the mattress.

Apparently the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said that it was not a violation.
I hope the family doesn't get a dime either, but we all know it's cheaper to settle out of court.

If they don't have a policy against tazing handcuffed perps, no problem. If they did, shit can his ass for breaking policy and making this chick a veggie.
Oh, just to be clear, fuck her for running. I hope the family doesn't get a dime.

You being against armchair quarterbacking is similar to being a Christian and hating Jesus Christ, it is your stock and trade.
Anyway, whether what he did is right or wrong, I just can't believe you equated police work to playing sports. As in, the police have no more duty to their prisoners than a player in the NFL does to the other players on the field. Laughable to even make that comparison.

Shocking video.
I am okay with it. Run from the popo and he is bringing an ass whoopin every time. The tazer just makes it less painful for the chase-er.
