I am so sorry to hear about that. I wish him and your family the best.Originally posted by Lason View PostMy wifes 13 year old cousin recently developed brain cancer too. His vision started going and a teacher sent a note home telling his dad to have his eyes checked and that is how they found out. The tumor was wrapped around a optical nerve and he has been going downhill since. Its so tough to see kids have to go through that kind of stuff.

Thank you so much!! You guys don't know how much it means to me that you will take time/effort to do this for him. They are an amazing family and I have no idea how his mom and dad will get through this. He was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer about a year ago and since then they've tried everything and had even started a new experimental treatment, but it just wasn't enough.Originally posted by Lason View PostIll deffinetly stop by and give a little. I truly appreciate everyone's support.

I know exactly how you feel. You would think it would be really hard to work so closely with them, but they are always so excited when we come to their home because sometimes it's their only sense of normalcy. They hardly EVER complain and try so hard-it's really inspiring. I can say, without a doubt, I absolutely LOVE my job-but sometimes it just sucks.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostVery sad and sorry to hear.
These stories are hard for me to read and think about. I always put myself in those parents shoes and I don't know how I would handle myself. Such a tough situation. I always end up going home and making sure I spend all the time I can with my son.
