I just stopped in, my wife wanted to cook tonight, but I stopped in and donated. I have no problem helping out to people, that are truly in need.

I will for sure. I texted my boss to see and she said she's waiting to hear back from the school nurse so it may be tomorrow before I hear something, but I will definitely let you guys know.

I am so sorry to hear about that. I wish him and your family the best.

Thank you so much!! You guys don't know how much it means to me that you will take time/effort to do this for him. They are an amazing family and I have no idea how his mom and dad will get through this. He was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer about a year ago and since then they've tried everything and had even started a new experimental treatment, but it just wasn't enough.

    I truly appreciate everyone's support.

These stories are hard for me to read and think about. I always put myself in those parents shoes and I don't know how I would handle myself. Such a tough situation. I always end up going home and making sure I spend all the time I can with my son.
I know exactly how you feel. You would think it would be really hard to work so closely with them, but they are always so excited when we come to their home because sometimes it's their only sense of normalcy. They hardly EVER complain and try so hard-it's really inspiring. I can say, without a doubt, I absolutely LOVE my job-but sometimes it just sucks.
