I would really love to get into it on here with you as it would make for some great reading material, but, most of what I said was crass and wrong so I am just going to apologize for my assumptions and move on. ...I'm a little disappointed in the dude's post, but in fairness it could've been interpreted that he was being attacked. Still, he made mindless judgements against davbrucas - which seems retarded.

He felt attacked and didnt the very thing he is accusing me of...making false assumptions. At least I had some evidence to base my assumptions on...maybe theyre wrong maybe theyre right. Regardless, it was rather insensitive and for that I apologized, but his comments were way off base about me...but I dont blame him for getting pissed. Sometimes a person needs a little kick in the ass...I know I sure did when I was younger.

Not because you are a doctor but because everyone thinks doctors are filthy rich. Anytime someone lets the plebs on this site know how much money they have or make then every comment that follows is taken with the context that the poster is looking down on everyone.

I'm going to stick up for Dave. Nothing against the injured soldier. Not that Dave wasn't a soldier as well, but I guess oneeyedfox missed that somehow.


He stepped up, along with several other members, when a good friend of mine passed away and left behind a 7 week old baby, a 6 yr old, a 9 yr old, and a wife. He didn't have to do that. Neither did anyone else. But they chose to, out of the kindness of their hearts.

And that's what Dave meant by his statement of 'choosing to help those that can't help themselves' and 'sudden and tragic circumstances'.

Like it or not, people have the right to choose where they donate, if they even donate at all. It's his money, so he gets a say in where it goes. Real easy for others to judge, when they aren't putting their money where their mouth is.


Just thought I'd throw that out there. I understand exactly what he meant, and agree completely, though I may have approached it differently.
