A guy that chokes to death on a ham sandwich is a guy who choked on a ham sandwich. But a guy poisoned by mysterious oil company g-men is a sensational story that keeps the meek minded compelled. If you're unable to see the baseless sensationalism in these conspiracy theories you'll get lost in them. It is the essence of all conspiracy theories. JFK got shot in the head by an ex-marine with a carcano surplus rifle. Sensationalism - JFK was taken out by a pro-communist mafia black network paid for by LBJ. On 9/11 a group of psychotic muslim terrorists flew several airliners into buildings. Sensationalism - an international behind the scenes black network of right wing government g-men orchestrated the attack to justify a war with the middle east to steal oil. High altitude jet engines cause condensation clouds called contrails, it's simple science. Sensationalism - a government conspiracy to secretly gas the population with mind control poison. I know several of these people and i've discussed it in person with them. All of them have one thing in common - they don't know shit about what they're talking about. It's always the same recipe, just a different topic. Humans desire this urge to turn the mundane and disappointing into the sensational and expected. Ever get those bullshit chain mails in your inbox? Or the wings that make men fly, or the guys who can surf on waves created by dynamite, etc. All of that is the same compelling urge a lot of people feel to create the fantasy that reality denies. The guys who see those faked viral videos and buy ever bit of it are the same kinds of guys that come into threads and claim a guy who choked on a ham sandwich was killed by mysterious oil company g-men.
I wouldn't say they are all baseless, though many are. I'd say there are enough unanswered questions, to create questioning. I'll use Monsanto as an example. If they will go to the lengths they have gone to, to monopolize the farming industry (all very well documented), why is it do hard to believe that oil companies wouldn't do the same? I just think its incredibly naieve to think it is not possible, and to immediately dismiss it as a crackpot conspiracy theory. Sure, some conspiracy theories are just that... Crackpot theories. But when hundreds of billions of dollars are at stake, I know what lengths I would go to, protecting what I perceive as mine. And I bet you would too.

Who was the guy that died in the restaurant while eating and started screaming right before he died that he had been poisoned?? I think he had developed some sort of fuel cell that he was developing for use in cars, iirc he drove a car from the east coast to the west coast on just a few gallons of water..We have the technology to mass produce fuel cell cars but the govenment doesnt want us too have it just yet

Why the hell would they take a lower price with absorbed transportation costs to ship it to the other side of the world? You point makes no damn sense. And then you're making the case that increasing supply is going to somehow increase prices? wtf world do you live in?
