God, does every neighborhood have there ass? My Neighbor across the street is a crotchety old man who is always in his yard working on it. U wave or say hi he just shrugs it off. About a year ago, Jim and I were working on my then project. Just replaced the cam and was setting timing in the garage. It was 10pm. We were revving it, just idling. He came to the edge of my driveway, and waited till I came to him. I'm sweaty, tired, and dirty but still greater him nicely. He proceeds to tell me that I am being too loud and he is trying to sleep. He also had the balls to say that he knows I'm a cop and that I apparently don't respect the FTWPD rules and laws... I bit my lip and said "ok..." He said hes calling the police. I walked back to my house. I turned off the truck and told Jim we were done. I didn't want to upset this poor old man anymore. 15 minutes roll by and fort worths finest show up. I told em they were here for me. I explained the situation and they shook there heads. One kinda pointed at crotchet mans house asking if it was him. I said yes. I told him what he said to me and id'ed myself and they laughed. Hey said they get calls from him all the time for bs stuff. We have these folks too in my city and there isn't anything we can do but Goto the call... We cut it up for a about 20 minutes before they cleared. I hope peepaw was watching...
