Then, when you've been given permission to "encroach" on her property, proceed to tell her that if she ever places unauthorized mail in your mailbox that you'll press charges (even though that probably won't happen, she doesn't know that), then let her know that if she ever "encroaches" on your property, that you'll then proceed to file trespassing charges.
