Or the cops who kicked in a Mayor's door and shot his dog and then pushed the man's face in his dog's blood and held him there. Or any number of the hundreds of other cases I can pull from. Or the cop they showed last night on Fox who climbed into the back seat of his cruiser to beat a cuffed woman. What happened to him? Fired. No charges, just lost his job. Know what happens if I beat a person who is cuffed in the back of a cruiser? of course you do. Losing my job is the least of it.

No, not really. People get flamed on here for being dumbasses. That is entirely within their control. Like you, for instance. As for Eric, has he made himself a target on here? Perhaps, but only to those that are naieve enough to think they can actually match wits or win an argument with him.
