    It just clawed the hell out of that Escape trying to get on it. It is now perched on the Escapes roof rack. (I work with the lady who owns the car, she is thrilled!)

    There are bird rescue organizations.....
    try one of those.....I don't live up that way so I don't know of one...I just know we have one that has rescued of all things a buzzard from my friends house......She has issues with animals dying.... ugh.

    What did animal control say? I'd look up bird rescue in that area. If you try to get it yourself, you and/or the bird may get hurt. It's a beautiful, beneficial animal, so hopefully you can get it some help.
