Pool Cues - Where to Start

Of course, I was referring to the ones made before he died, not the ones made by his family. I wonder if the ones made today are any better than the Joss cues?

yeah, i'm aware of it...i was just joking, because, after that film, everyone wanted a balabushka. if i recall, his kids or grandkids either sold the rights to his name or had some company manufacturer replicas, with his name....i don't know if they're still making them or not. the ones that were made by george balabushka are definitely rare and expensive...he didn't make very many. i have a friend with one (made in the mid 60s, if i remember correctly), and he paid over $20k, back in the mid/late 90s.Originally posted by STROKD View PostI assume you know the cue in the movie was made by Joss... Balabushkas are too rare and thought of too delicate to use in the movie. I did the google research last month looking for one. Real Balas are 5-20 grand. The actual Joss used in the movie is a N7 and only 700 bucks new. Lol

what, no balabushka?!?! lolOriginally posted by STROKD View PostI have an older McDermot and it feels very nice to shoot with. A lot more feedback than my dad's Meucci.
My next cue will be a newer McD or a Joss N-7 (just because I love The Color of Money).
