Originally posted by Buick355 View PostYeah, I'll be looking into the internships soon, maybe after this semester.
So what are you doing with your degree? I always like to hear about the different paths people take with engineering degrees since there's so much versatility in the field.
I am now transitioning to a large oil and gas company to learn a new industry. I should also have my engineering management masters degree finished soon.
I interned/co-oped from the time I was out of HS to graduating college with the same defense contractor and another large manufacturing and design company.
Don't wait on the internship...you won't get it right away...

Btw...if you haven't already...I suggest getting an internship. If you want to be ahead and get a good job after graduation you gotta do it.

Sometimes it makes me sick to my stomach to make me think that while I was a NONCOM in the US Marines 7,000 miles away from home in a foreign war, I was actually protecting the then 4th grade Eric's freedom to log onto the internet 20+ years later and be the antagonistic prick that he is.
Jus sayin'.....
**Disclaimer** Some figures may be off, no actual hard data was researched for this post, but you get the gist.

Just for the record, I did not make one comment at Eric, but he found the need to bring out the jab:
"That's a cowardly thing to say about someone you don't know. I have yet to have a single openly liberal Professor."
The ironic thing is that a Liberal does not look like a Liberal to another Liberal.
