I think they are talking about the little mini trucks you see around college campuses, the Daihatsu's and Hinos. Like clown car small.

Either you are thinking of the wrong mini truck or I am. OP did you mean those tiny 3cyl trucks or an actual commuter vehicle?Originally posted by naynay View Postthey are pricey! for what they are at least. Nissan hardbodies still draw $4k plus, same with some tacomas.. I'd say the older the better on one of those to keep cost down

I know TCC uses the crap out of them. Some of them can hold a respectful amount in the bed, you can make the bed lift up to dump stuff out, and/or the sides of the bed fold down to make it a flat bed.
I've researched them before; there are a few mini trucks forums out there. The brands that are good are just like their cars Toyota > Honda > Suzuki> Daihatsu > rest

I have a friend that uses one on his deer lease. Small lift and knobby tires. Way cheaper than a high end atv truck

Anyone have input on these things? They caught my interest for a paddock vehicle to tote fuel jugs etc.
Worth messing with?Tags: None
