I've got Skybeam out here too.... I had them for about a year now, service is
decent, no contract, about 50.00 per month, and much better than my prior ISP (Texas Cell Net- which was awful) but like all of 'em, they're difficult to get on the phone if you have a problem.

Mercbuff had Wild Blue for a while and he said they really sucked at his property location near Italy/Waxahachie. He canceled their ass and went with DSL from the phone company.

What about Clear? I have heard mixed results with it though.

Bluesky or some other BS company was here in Rockwall when I moved in and was operated out of a barn. It took them 2 weeks to return my call when I was looking into getting their service. During that time I had read enough bad reviews on them I was glad I didn't sign up. All the same bull you describe.

It sounds like paying to get out of the contract might be worth it. Does your wife even use the internet that much at the lease to justify it? I understand the Tv but I get bored with the internet after 20 minutes of surfing. Plus my dingus gets raw.

Dishnetwork offers internet. Hughesnet is a joke. I went over my allocated amount by loading one page and they throttled me for 24 hours. After that, I tried to check another page and it put me over again and they did it again.

Short story, I shot the hell out of their system, boxed it up with bricks and sent it back

Now see, I remember that being said too. I'm just trying to help the wife be comfortable so I can play more often. If I treated my customers like they have treated me, my company would be long gone.

Hmmm.... I vaguely recall telling you that WildBlue was junk and to go with Hughesnet. I wouldn't make you wait 2 weeks for a service call IF it went out.
