I love it when people act like an old car being street legal is some big shit deal. Like retaining the wipers and turn signals is some sort of engineering miracle.

I see what you are saying and the term "street legal" is thrown around very easily by most.

However, the fact that the car can run a 6 second 1/4 mile pass and cruise easily around town is something very few can claim. "Street legal" doesn't mean much on an old car... "driveable" on a 6 second car does.
