I upgraded to the Galaxy S2 skyrocket this weekend, so far it is the best phone I've owned.

They called customer care and the customer care rep verified the online offer and then said that if I wanted it in store I would have to wait. Makes no sense.

The only reason I am still with T-mobile is because I am a cheap Jew. I have a plan that is ancient and cheap. I could not get the plan I have with them anywhere else.
Certain stores will bypass the date for you, I'm just saying...

And yeah, stores can't match online pricing, or over the phone pricing. It sucks sometimes.

If anyone has any T-Mobile questions PM me first.

Well I guess it's settled, once the note 2 comes out I will no longer be an iPhone user. Any set release date?

DL&install drivers, dl kernel, dl Odin, flash via Odin, dl ES File Explorer from Play Store, rename apk's extension from .apk to .bak in /system/app or /data/app This presupposes you stay on the stock firmware(rom). There are likely pre-debloated, stock roms available to flash so you don't have to do any of that.

That's hard to say. I'm a heavy user(more than 10hrs internet related use) and have never had an iPhone, but I keep my phone on Auto-brightness and have it overclocked and keep it on the charger whenever one is near. If one isn't, I can kill the battery in under 5hrs of constant internet usage. YMWV

The size only took a few days for me to get used to, but the phone I came from was large enough that you could fit an entire iPhone w/in the screen's bezel. If your hands are small, it may not be the best choice for you. I can palm a basketball, so it's not a problem for me. YMMV.

The SGS3 is a killer phone. I don't recall what carrier you're on, so here are the xda forums for the GS3 on their respective carrier.

    ATT
    TMob
    VZW
    Sprint

Go get edumacated on what all you can do with/to your new phone.

My wife has an sgs2 and I wouldn't give up my iPhone for that pile of shit if it was free. maybe it's because she has tmobile for service. I can live without flash.
