I'm not saying he didn't, I only saw what I came across, I wasn't actively trying to find his posts. I just recall many threads he posted a legitimate response to, only to get castigated by some rando on some other topic.

You can disagree with someone, hell you can really detest them, but after a while when people follow people through threads giving them grief just because they got their feelings hurt, or they don't care for the guy is when things get childish. I completely understand why he wouldn't bother posting here, it got really immature after a while.

That's absurd. Do any of the other board cops get the same grief, or even half as much? I must have missed where Jimmy has ever had a single negative thing said to or about him. Luis was obviously very well-liked. I'm not even sure who all of the other cops are, but I know we have several who are positive contributions to the site.

Matt may be an okay guy in certain settings, but his online persona here was that of a total dingbat most of the time, and some of his own comments also painted the picture of him being a douchbag of a cop, as well. I'm sure we'd all have the same feelings toward him even if he was a truck driver, electrician, mechanic, or whatever.

Truthfully, I hope everything is okay for him and his job, family, etc. It is odd to see a regular poster disappear from the board like he did.
