back to the subject, though......kids are the shit! I fucking love when the little girl looks at me while watching a movie and says some shit I would say. She saw a zombie get popped in the walking dead but still kept coming and she says "should have double tapped him, huh, daddy!" I busted out laughing!

Kids can be made to be little fuckheads that deserved to be kicked in the ass or they can be made to be just kickass little people. Im afraid of what my boys are turning into since im not around to see. But my 5 year old little girl loves flames on hotrods, has shoes with little skulls on them, knows zombies should be double tapped, can handle a light saber, and loves going offroad in the jeep. Kids are the shit when they are taught to behave and use manners.

Having kids is 110% comittment for ther rest of your life. So you should REALLY want kids & feel you have the temperment to raise them.

I suspect many people I know who are parents didn't consider all that before they "took the plunge". Probably 40% of the parents I know bitch incessantly about the burben of their kids & how they wish they had never done it.

I did get really tired of hearing "your married, your supposed to have kids", or "You would make a great dad".

I'm now 50, and never felt any urge to have kids, and have ZERO regrets about having no kids.

I knew he was talking about people "like" me. Resourceful, at least somewhat intelligent. I guess what I'm getting at, is if someone says something you don't understand, you can get a base amount of knowledge by googling it. At that point you can dive deeper into the subject, or leave it alone.

There are plenty of times I think about a few things I _might_ have done differently if I never had kids. That being said, I wouldn't trade my kids or the experience for the anything. I imagine cynical people without kids might think people only say that because they already have kids, but it's really something you have to go through to understand. What baffles me the most, is how some people with kids can abuse them, or treat them more as a possession then a child.

I've met a fair share of individuals who have had children thinking it would fix their relationship issues or somehow fill this void in themselves, only to find out that isn't the case.
