If his claims were true AND he only went after the guilty AFTER legal avenues failed then I might have been able to get behind him in a "Law Abiding Citizen" kind of way. Unfortunately that does not seem to be the case, in part because he supposedly was doing this as an anti-gun demonstration, which has nothing to do with corrupt police.
But he is dead now, the evidence has been burned, and I doubt we will ever know what actually happened.

And not the first time and it won't be the last, some people just get pushed too far. I probably would have done the same thing but it was easier to move out of Plano.

Read his manifesto. It is unfortunate the shit he went through with the LAPD but I still think he chose the wrong path.

The guy is a nut and I'm glad there won't be a trial but at the sametime I kinda wish that he would have been taken alive just to hear his side of the LAPD "story"

If it were a movie I might be able to get behind him as the anti-hero. In real life it's just really sad. There are no winners here. I hope they find him soon for the sake of the innocent.
Edit.. Just read the thread, didn't realize he was already dead.

Plano PD > LAPDOriginally posted by gnturboray View PostCops lie?? Really?? He was a cop, was he lying when he started this bullshit?? And how do you know he's been wronged?? Be he wrote it?? He was fired 5 years ago from LAPD and for what ever the reason but that does not give him or anyone the right to go a murderous spree. That dude had major issues and if he was like this back then, then I can see why he was fired. May he rot in hell!!

Evidently, the cops started the fire. They were yelling for their comrades to burn him out and burn the MF'er. Oh and seems he tried to surrender.
[Updated at 9:14 p.m. ET] Earlier, we reported that U.S. Marshals Service district chief Kurt Ellingson told us a suspect tried to get out the back door of the cabin at some point today and was pushed back inside. But there are now conflicting reports about whether the suspect ever emerged.
Ellingson says authorities are not sure whether the suspect came out.

Trip speaking with some common sense? Isn't that a sign of the Apocalypse..Originally posted by Trip McNeely View PostHe's a piece of shit lunatic, but fuck the corrupt LAPD as well. No one wins. He also shouldn't have killed any innocents if he was true to his word.
Scary times indeed...
